WHAT WE BELIEVE

We all have important questions that we ask:

  • Where did I come from?
  • Why am I here?
  • What is my purpose?

What is so encouraging is that the answers to all of these most important questions can be found in God’s Word. We dive into God’s Word every week in order to find these truths.

One of the most important questions that we all have is where we will spend eternity? The Bible says in I John 5:13:

“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the son of God; that he may know that he have eternal life…”

God loves you and wants you to know that you are going to heaven.

OUR PURPOSE

Our youth group lives by the verse I Timothy 4:12:

“Let no man despise thy youth, but be thou an example of the believers in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”

We wish to build a blazing fire in the hearts of youth so that they will take that light into the world around them.

OUR VISION

The goal for Youth Ablaze is to make the teenagers of today into the leaders of tomorrow. Not only do we want our teenagers to grow personally, but our vision is that they will reach out to the world around them.

Soulwinning

Every Wednesday at 4:15 pm, the teenagers have an opportunity to visit the people in our community, invite them to our church, and share Gods life changing truth with them.

Doulos

``Doulos`` is the greek word for ``servant.`` Each month, the youth group gets together to help someone in need. This may be assisting an elderly person with their lawn care, helping a family who just lost a loved one, helping someone move, or even preparing for a church event.

Pastor Nathan Walsh

Youth Pastor

Pastor Nathan Walsh became the youth pastor of Lighthouse Baptist Church in the summer of 2016. He currently leads the Wednesday evening youth group, and oversees the youth ministries of the church.

Bro. Tim Hiti

Youth Sunday School Teacher

Bro. Tim Hiti is the administrator of Lighthouse Christian School. He currently leads the Youth Ablaze Sunday School class on Sunday mornings at 9:45am.
